Fix a PDF that is back to front after a double-sided scan

When reverse helps
Use Reverse Pages when the whole file is backwards — for example a duplex scan fed the wrong way, or a booklet that was assembled in reverse. It does not rotate sideways pages; use Rotate PDF for orientation.
Page content is copied in reverse order. The operation does not recompress images, so quality stays the same.
Step by step
Fix a back-to-front scan:
- 1Open Reverse Pages and drop the PDF.
- 2Run Reverse to invert the page order.
- 3Preview the result (or open Preview PDF) to confirm page 1 is first.
- 4If some pages are still sideways, use Rotate PDF on those pages after splitting, or rotate the whole file if every page shares the same mistake.
- 5If you scanned odds and evens as two files, reverse the mis-ordered stack, then Merge the files in the correct order.
Odd and even stacks
Some desk scanners output all front sides, then all back sides. Reverse alone cannot interleave those. Split or keep the two stacks separate, reverse only the stack that is backwards, then merge in the reading order you need.
Troubleshooting
If the result still looks wrong:
- Only some pages are upside down: that is rotation, not order — use Rotate PDF.
- You need a new custom order, not a full reverse: Extract or Split pages, then Merge in the order you want.
- Password-protected file: unlock with a known password first.
Privacy and security
Reverse Pages runs in your browser. The file is loaded into memory on your device, processed locally, and offered as a download. WordToPDFHub does not receive the document.
